UFC: 2017 Underdogs vs Favorites Record

2016 featured plenty of eye-opening upsets in the UFC. We witnessed Bryan Barberena decimate the Sage Northcutt hype train and Michael Bisping shocking the world by finally winning UFC gold over Luke Rockhold. However, when all was said and done, dogs went just 179-307 through the 2016 calendar. Underdogs won at a rate of 36.8%, which is a slight decrease from the 38.5 percent they posted in 2015.

After each UFC event, OddsShark will update the year-to-date underdogs vs favorites record using the closing lines for each fight, as well as the records for each event with the biggest upset on each card. We’ll also take a look at how profitable underdogs are based on a $100 bet on every underdog on every card.
