Headlining the UFC Fight Night 45 betting card on July 16 will be a Lightweight battle between two of the best in the division looking to make their last run at the title. UFC Fight Night odds will also feature a relevant fight in the UFC Welterweight division and some closely handicapped up-and-comer matchups.
Both Donald Cerrone and Jim Miller have been chasing the UFC Lightweight belt for years, and the winner of the UFC Fight Night 45 main event will be right on the doorstep of their chance at UFC gold. Oddsmakers at 5Dimes have Cerrone listed as the UFC odds -250 favorite, while the Miller upset will pay +210.
5Dimes UFC prop options are offering Cerrone inside the distance at +130, fight doesn’t go to a decision at -160, and fight is under 3.5 rounds at -115 for a fat Cerrone beatdown parlay payday. Cerrone should be able to dominate Miller wherever the fight goes, and how long Miller is able to last remains to be seen.
Evan Dunham will try to get his MMA career back on track with an upset win over Edson Barboza. Oddsmakers at 5Dimes currently have Dunham handicapped as a +195 underdog on their UFC odds, while the Barboza price sits at -235. We expect Barboza to have a huge edge in the striking and should be able to stay off his back for a KO or a submission win.
5Dimes prop bet options offer UFC betting fans a -195 price on the over 1.5 rounds, but if Barboza is going to KO Dunham it will more than likely occur in the first half of the fight vs. the second half.
In a Welterweight matchup Rick Story is currently a UFC Fight Night odds -280 favorite over last-minute slot filler Leonardo Mafra. Despite an impressive 11-1 record, handicappers at 5Dimes think that the step up in competition will be too much too soon for the Mafra +240 option to pay out.
