UFC Fight Night: Machida Romero Odds

UFC Fight Night betting action returns on Saturday night with nine bouts including the main event between Lyoto Machida and Yoel Romero. UFC Fight Night 70 odds will also include MMA betting action on the co-main event between Lorenz Larkin and Santiago Ponzinibbio as well as the matchup between Antonio Carlos Junior and Eddie Gordon.

The former UFC Light Heavyweight champion Lyoto Machida returns to action this weekend only two months after his last fight saw him suffer a one-sided loss to Luke Rockhold. Machida will be out to show that he is still among the elite of the division against Romero.

Current MMA odds at Bodog have Machida handicapped as a slim -190 favorite while action on the Romero upset will pay +155. We like the chalk option in this fight as Machida has only lost to the best of the best over the years, and his elusiveness and counter-striking should be the difference.

The UFC Fight Night 70 co-main event offers an interesting odds situation. Current odds at Bodog are offering a +175 underdog option on Santiago Ponzinibbio to win over Lorenz Larkin. Larkin has dropped four of his last six fights and does not look like he’s worth the -225 price. We like the upset option in this fight.

Antonio Carlos Junior is currently a -210 favorite to beat Eddie Gordon at UFC Fight Night 70. UFC odds on this fight have Gordon handicapped as a +170 underdog, and we think that payday should be bigger considering he lost his last two fights to lesser opponents.
