Headlining the UFC Fight Night 63 card on April 4 will be a No.1 Featherweight contender matchup between Chad Mendes and Ricardo Lamas.
Current moneyline action has Mendes handicapped as the -440 favorite at 5Dimes, while Lamas underdog action will have a +350 payday. UFC prop odds offer a couple of options; we like the Mendes wins inside the distance at +140 and fight doesn’t go to a decision at -110.
Mendes will have a big edge in the grappling department and should be able to control Lamas for most of the fight. After a couple of rounds of ground-and-pound Mendes should be able to finish his opponent in violent fashion.
The co-main event will feature Lightweights Al Iaquinta and Jorge Masvidal in a closely handicapped matchup. Current MMA odds at 5Dimes have Masvidal listed as the -125 favorite while UFC odds on Iaquinta are currently at +105.
This fight is close to call a winner, but the -185 option on fight goes to a decision looks to have lots of value in the three-rounder. You can pay a little more for an extra 30 seconds of security with the -220 option on the fight going OVER 2.5 rounds.
The highly anticipated return of The Ultimate Fighter 18 winner Julianna Pena is also scheduled to happen at UFC Fight Night 63. She is currently handicapped as a -280 favorite at 5Dimes while her opponent Milana Dudieva will pay +240.
We don’t mind the price on Pena to win, but there’s more value in the +305 option on Pena winning via KO/TKO. Pena wins inside the distance is another great UFC Fight Night 63 odds option at +175.
