We are just three days into the NBA postseason, but if you have played the under in every game so far, it has already been a profitable venture for you.
The under went 2-1 Monday night, putting it at 8-3 through the first 11 postseason games, cashing at a rate of almost 73 percent.
The reasons for this seem to vary from teams just being grossly over matched – like the Grizzlies against the Spurs – to teams seeming rusty after coasting into the second season – like the Raptors against the Pacers.
Whatever the reason, teams have not been shooting the basketball overly well to start the playoffs, shooting a combined just 43 percent from the field through the first 11 games.
Only four teams, Miami, Los Angeles, San Antonio and Detroit are shooting better than 50 percent from the field so far. Meanwhile Houston, Portland, Memphis, Oklahoma City, Boston and Dallas are all shooting less than 40 percent.
There are two Game 2’s on the schedule Tuesday night.
The Boston Celtics visit the Atlanta Hawks, with a total currently sitting at 206 and the Memphis Grizzlies visit the San Antonio Spurs with a much lower total of 187. Both of the series Game 1’s went under.
