The Seattle Seahawks are coming off a bye week, so they are fully rested and ready to go for Monday Night. Their previous opponent, the Denver Broncos, had put them through a wild ride towards the end of the game with a comeback to take it to overtime. Luckily, the Seahawks were able to get the win a home giving them their second win of the season. Super bowl XVLII did not repeat itself, though the hawks were lucky enough to beat Peyton Manning once again. Their next opponents, the Washington Redskins are a much easier team to face; however, this time the Seahawks are on the road. Their only road game of this season was against the San Diego Chargers which finished off with a loss for the Seahawks. Then again, Phillip Rivers and the Chargers have been remarkable this season so give them credit for that win; the team seemed very confident and not scared facing the Super Bowl Champs.  The Washington Redskins on the other hand will not beat the Seahawks with a back-up quarterback, regardless of playing at home.

The Washington Redskins had an unsuccessful week 4; Kirk Cousins and his offense had a terrible Thursday night game at home. Eli Manning and the New Giants produced the fourth consecutive Thursday Night blow out.  Cousin only threw 257 yards, a touchdown and four interceptions; the Giants defense embarrassed the back-up QB after coming back from a stunning week 3 performance.  Alfred Morris also was able to run for 63 yards and a TD; as for the receiving core, well not much happened with them statically. Though this week, since they are coming off a Thursday night game and will be playing this Monday, the Redskins got a good amount of rest, but not as much as the Seahawks. Can they beat the Seahawks? Our sports analysts do not think so.
