Virgina, Kansas biggest faves in Round of 64

Selection Sunday has come and gone and the dance card is set.

The field of 68 teams for the NCAA Tournament has been filled out and while there were some surprises, (No No. 1 seed for Michigan State?) the two biggest faves in the Round of 64 are No. 1 seeds.

CG Technology has released their opening lines for the First Four in Dayton and the Round of 64 all across the country and it’s the South Region No. 1 seed Kansas and Midwest Region No. 1 seed Virginia who are facing the most chalk.

The Cavaliers have opened as 23.5-point faves for their opening game in Raleigh versus No. 16 seed Hampton, while the Jayhawk opened at -23 for their game against No. 16 Austin Peay (18-17) in Des Moines.

Other big faves are Michigan State (-16.5) versus Middle Tennessee State and Villanova -15 versus NC-Asheville.
