Virginia guard Justin Anderson suffered what appears to be a significant hand injury in Saturday’s 52-47 win over Louisville.
“Something will need to be done [about Anderson’s hand],” coach Tony Bennett said after the game.
Anderson played 16 minutes, struggling from the field, going just 1 of 9 shooting, and grabbing four rebounds for the Cavaliers. Anderson did not play in the second half and was seen with a wrap on his hand while he sat on the bench.
Anderson is the Cavaliers leading scorer, averaging 13.9 points.
