WATCH: Dunkfest by Marshall Plumlee leads Duke to first-round win

The first game of the first round was plenty entertaining — and Duke , the No. 4 seed in the West, got a real scare from No. 13 UNC-Wilmington on Thursday in Providence.

But the reason why Duke is moving on to play on Saturday? A little bit of Grayson Allen, a little more of Brandon Ingram — and a LOT of Marshall freaking Plumlee.

The Duke senior, who recently broke his nose, showed no fear and just dunked all over the Seahawks on Thursday afternoon.

The Blue Devils won 93-85. Plumlee had 23 points, 22 of them seemingly coming on dunks.

Kaboom, kaboom, kaboom. Plumlee also had eight rebounds and three blocks.

The Seahawks had a nice effort, and we had some doubts about who would win this, but down the stretch there were just a few too many mistakes for UNC-Wilmington.

Duke will play the winner of the Baylor-Yale game on Friday.
