Louisiana Tech has had a really nice season in Eric Konkol’s first season replacing now-Florida coach Mike White. This might be the cherry on top of that terrific season.
With the game tied at 94 and time winding down against Marshall, Derric Jean launched a prayer from half-court as the buzzer sounded. The result?
You watch:
Jean finished with 10 points off the bench. Alex Hamilton was the key though, scoring 38 points.
Here’s a second view of Jean’s crazy shot to win it and send the Bulldogs to a 23-7 record.

Pretty awesome moment, there. With a road win Saturday, Louisiana Tech will clinch at least a tie for second place in the league.
