You might have forgotten about one of the most inspiring stories in college basketball, but fortunately, Florida easily defeated Jacksonville on Tuesday night to remind you of Zach Hodskins.

The sophomore is a one-handed wonder for the Gators, the viral sensation who had D-I dreams long before Billy Donovan offered him a chance to wear a Florida uniform. Hodskins made headlines here at CBS Sports a year ago, when he checked into his first game in UF colors.
And against Jacksonville, Hodskins — who has terrific basketball skills — displayed his deft ability in scoring his first points as a college player. Let’s check the slow-mo video.

That’s just awesome. The best college hoops video you’ll see all week. Hodskins has been playing one-handed basketball all his life. He was born without a left hand. He’s a really good player, and deserving of that uniform.
Here’s to two baskets, or even more, the next time he gets on the floor for UF.
Florida is now 8-3 and plays at home against Florida State next Tuesday.
