According to at least two sportbooks, there are three clear favorites as to who will be cutting down the nets April 4 in Houston and they are Kansas, North Carolina and Michigan State.
The Westgate LV Superbook has the South Region and the No. 1 overall seed, Kansas Jayhawks as the 9/2 favorites, followed closely by the Spartans and the Tar Heels at 5/1. While at William Hill it is North Carolina who is the 4/1 favorites, with the Jayhawks and Sparty not far behind at 9/2.
Another thing both books have in common, is that the margin between the top three teams and everyone else is noticeable.
At the Westgate, the next closest teams are the Virginia Cavaliers and the Villanova Wildcats at 12/1, while at William Hill it is Kentucky at 10/1.
So who is your money on? One of the favored blue blood programs? Or maybe a live long shot like Indiana (30/1 Westgate, 40/1 William Hill) or California (40/1 Westgate, 50/1 William Hill)?
Check out the list of national championship odds for the entire field of 68 in this year’s March Madness from both the Westgate LV Superbook and William Hill.
